Life As It Is
I have now been working in medical records for about two months. Although this isn't what I had planned for my career life after college I do believe there is a reason for it. My temporary time there will be used for building my savings as well as building relationships. It has also made me realize that I have to make an effort to create art on my down time. Perseverance and hope for future opportunities is what my focus is on as well as whatever God wants for my life right now in these moments of uncertainty.

My Time At PSU

May 15, 2009 I will be graduating from Pittsburg State University. I cannot believe that it is time for me to be leaving. I have experienced so many things while here and have met some amazing people. I will forever remember late nights at Tropical Snow, spending hours upon hours at Porter Hall making art, going to numerous PSU football games, watching movies in Aril Commons garage, making new friends in random places and meeting the man of my dreams.
Thank you Pittsburg, KS for being so good to me in the past few years. I will miss the view of down town during Christmas, our beautiful lit up campus at night time and being so close to my family.
Thank you Rhona for teaching me that I can do anything I set my mind to and for helping me become an artist who believes in herself. I will think of you always when I see your caricature on my wall.
Thank you Alysha and Brooke for helping me through these last semesters. I don't think I could have done it without my ladies. You gave me encouragement as well as faith that what I am doing is what I was meant to do. You two are both so beautiful to me.
Thank you Mom for keeping all of your pinkie swears of putting me through college. If I become half the woman you are I will have exceeded above and beyond. You have showed me that I can get through anything through my faith and help from family and friends. I love you, You are my hero!
Thank you Jeremy, the love of my life. You have put up with so much this past year. I totally agree that not only do women have to be called to become preachers wives but men must me called to be artists' husbands. You support me in my dreams and are so excited when I think I have mastered one of my pieces. You work forty hours a week to provide for me as well has going to school full time. You're my Best Friend and I am so excited to see what God has in store for us next.
